While taking S to practice at 5:30 this morning

S: It's freezing out!  

Me: It's only 41°.

S: That's freezing.

Me: No. 32° is freezing.

S: Well, it's almost freezing.

Me: Ya know, in some places it's -6° or colder.

S: Well, it's really cold and feels like it's freezing.

Poor  baby....

    MINUS ONE -- real feel temp here in Philly. though I think I would agree with S - 41 degrees sure would feel like FREEZING!

    Oh, it does! But I wanted her to know there are others dealing with much colder temps than us. We're pretty lucky it rarely gets to freezing or below here.
