S has always had problems with cleaning up. I'm convinced it's hereditary. From her father. They both leave a trail around the house. There's usually no guessing where they've been.
When S was about 4, I was getting after her to clean up her toys. After probably 3 times of going back to her room & telling her to clean, I was getting nowhere. So I told her if the toys aren't cleaned up by the time the timer goes off {in 10 mins} I am packing up all her toys & giving them to charity.
Her reply:
"But what if Charity doesn't want them?"
At the time we had a neighbor her age. Her name was Charity!!
