A list

Man, it feels like forever since I've taken the time to write about, well, anything! It's not that I'm this super busy, full time working mom of three. It's more like I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at a computer and when I get home, I really have no desire to spend another hour or two at my laptop.

I've been diligent about taking a photo every day, but when it comes to uploading it, I peter out. I think about a little tid-bit to wrote about, then get lazy and feel it's easier to sit and read a book. It simply takes too much energy.

I'm going to have to change my attitude about that.

For now, I will give you a quick list of April's highlights.

1. R danced in her first high school performance. Ever. It was so awesome to see her in action.

2. S danced in her last high school performance. Ever. It was a bitter sweet event.

3. I finally bit the bullet and took D and myself to the optometrist for an eye exam and glasses. We can now see!!

4. R tried out again for cheer and made it on Varsity.  Yeah! (She went from being on the Freshman squad and straight to Varsity) Boo! (Varsity cost more).

5. D is finally getting used to her new school and has made a few friends. (Although she insists most of the students aren't very bright).

6. For the past year, there has been talk of her old middle school closing. We found out it's really going to happen after this year is out.

7. The month, S graduates high school.  Aaakkkkk!!!

8. Despite grumbling about all the times I had to stay up late to pick S up from dance rehersal or cheer practice, I'm going to miss watching her perform.

9. My "fancy" camera isn't working and needs repair. I've missed it more than ever now that I can't use it!

10. Thank goodness for the iPhone camera. It's no DSLR, but I can still get a decent shot with it.

11. Today is the final day of the April/May home show. I'm not looking forward to it....
